2011 Corman Air Park Fly 'n Fair
June 30 and July 1, 2011, again marked the annual Corman Air Park Fly N' Fair.
This year was the second year of the rename of the event to Vern Rees Memorial Fly N' Fair in honour of the man that founded the event, who passed away in August of 2009.
The "702 Lynx" Air Cadet Squadron was out in full force again this year, taking care of parking and providing popcorn and water for the crowds.
They again performed a full dress uniform flag ceremony to honour Canada Day, complete with a formation flyby.
The Antique Tractor boys were back again with lots of vintage machines. They did sod turning demonstrations along with a mini parade and lots of stationary displays.
Alena's Beer Gardeen was also back and it will become a permanet fixture in the years to come.
The "Saskatoon Rocket Society" couldn't make it this year, but they promise to be here next!
The ever popular and spectacular Fireworks display on the evening of June 30, was the best ever, thanks to a very successfull Steak Night fund raiser.
And again, everyone had a great time and we are all looking forward to next year!
