Live Video Feed
Corman Air Park now has several web cams monitoring the action
on the airfield. You can watch live video feeds or recorded video
clips. If you are a first-time viewer, you might want to read the
brief explanation and instructions below, otherwise...
Here are some still photo samples of what you
might see:
Here's how it works
There are two cameras (cameras 1 & 2) at the mid-point
of the runway, one pointing in each direction. Another two cameras
(cameras 3 & 4) cover the hangar line and main yard. The
cameras feed live audio-video streams, and also use motion
detection to record and save video clips of moments of action.
Watching live feeds
When you click on the link above to access the video server,
you’ll be presented first with the live video monitoring page
(the "Cameras" tab). There you have the option of selecting and
watching one of the live feeds. Currently there are four available.
Procedure:
- Select (click on) the view (camera) you want, and then ...
- Select (click on) your preferred video viewing method.
There will be a few moment’s delay while the video feed
loads.
Watching recorded clips
To watch recorded video clips, after gettign to the "Cameras"
page with the link above, select the "Recorded Videos" tab. You can
choose which day's videos that you'd like to view in the "PERIOD"
dropdown box. You can also choose videos from the runway
cameras or the hangar line cameras in the "File Types" box.
It may take a few seconds for the selection list of video clips
to load, and then when you select a clip it will take a bit more
time for the clip to download to your computer. While it is
loading, the viewing screen on the right may say "NO IMAGE"
(perhaps 10 seconds on a typical high speed connection). Just be
patient.
Corman Air Park
... it's a great place to fly!
